On the eve of hurricane Sandy, the Defender cross country team took aim at winning a Colonial States Athletic Conference Athletic Conference as they ran at McDade Park in Scranton, PA.  The women’s team finished seventh out of eleven teams and the men finished sixth out of nine teams
